Terms of Service
Last updated: 28 October 2026
Draft v0.1 — published under early access; will be reviewed before paid plans or account features launch.
These terms govern your use of the ShopAIReady website (shopaiready.com) and MCP server (mcp.shopaiready.com), together "the Service". By using the Service you accept these terms.
1. Provider
José Covas Education Academy, Lda, Portugal
Avenida Engenheiro Duarte Pacheco, Torre 1, Piso 2, Esc. 10, 1070-101 Lisboa, Portugal

2. The Service
ShopAIReady provides read-only tools, used from AI assistants such as Claude, that check public store pages and product feeds against what AI shopping surfaces (such as Google AI Mode and ChatGPT shopping) need, and that draft a supplemental feed (CSV) with suggested corrections. The Service is in early access: features, limits and availability may change, and it may be interrupted without notice.
3. No guarantee of results
- Scores and findings are heuristics to help you prioritise. They are not an official certification by Google, OpenAI or anyone else.
- We do not guarantee that your products will be approved, listed, ranked or shown by Google, OpenAI, Anthropic or any other platform. Their rules change and are applied at their sole discretion.
- The Service only reads the HTML served to it; it cannot see content injected by JavaScript nor detect blocking by firewalls/CDNs.
- Nothing in the Service is legal, tax or compliance advice.
4. Your responsibilities
- You are solely responsible for reviewing suggestions and for anything you upload or change in your store, Google Merchant Center, OpenAI or any other platform. Suggested values marked TODO must be completed by you; we never invent data.
- Only submit URLs of public content you are entitled to analyse.
- Do not misuse the Service: no attempts to circumvent rate limits or security controls, to reach non-public or internal systems, to perform mass or automated scanning of third-party sites, to overload the Service, or to use it for any unlawful purpose.
5. Third-party services
Your use of Claude, ChatGPT, Google Merchant Center and other third-party services is governed by their own terms. ShopAIReady is not affiliated with, endorsed or sponsored by Google, OpenAI or Anthropic.
6. Prices and payment
During early access the Service is free of charge, subject to fair-use limits. Prices shown on the site are planned prices for information only. When paid plans launch they will be sold only on this website, through Paddle as merchant of record; the final price, taxes, billing period, renewal and cancellation terms, and any statutory right of withdrawal for consumers will be shown before purchase. Nothing is sold inside ChatGPT or Claude.
7. Intellectual property
You may freely use the reports and CSV files the Service produces for you. The Service, its software, texts and brand remain the property of José Covas Education Academy, Lda or its licensors.
8. Liability
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost sales or profits, product disapprovals or account actions by third-party platforms, or loss of data, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of the amounts you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or €50. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for wilful misconduct or gross negligence, for death or personal injury, or any rights you have as a consumer that cannot be limited by contract.
9. Suspension
We may limit, suspend or block access (for example by IP address) to protect the Service or third parties, in particular in case of abuse or breach of these terms.
10. Changes
We may update these terms. Changes are posted on this page with a new date; material changes will be announced on the site before they take effect. Continued use after that date means you accept the updated terms.
11. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by Portuguese law. If you are a consumer, you keep the mandatory protections of the law of your country of residence. Disputes are subject to the competent Portuguese courts, without prejudice to mandatory rules on consumer jurisdiction. Consumers may use the Livro de Reclamações (online complaints book) and the Portuguese consumer alternative dispute resolution centres listed at consumidor.gov.pt.
